How we protect forests
NRDF is committed to providing sustainable resource management opportunities to local communities, aiming to protect natural resources for current and future generations.
Expanding its scope in recent years, NRDF projects include the intersection of forest conservation and climate change mitigation. The organisation is a Licensed Coordinator, implementing projects that integrate Forest Protected Areas with Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES) crediting activities under the Pacific-based Nakau Programme framework and methodology.
